Slope Planes: Not Just Hand Gliders Anymore!
It wasn't that long ago when simple motorized gliders were the standard for slope planes where you launched your 2 -3 channel glider and gently soared through the skies. While those model planes are still really cool, some feel they don't compare to the power of a RC vehicle. The good news is if 
you like the idea of flying your own aircraft but aren't sold on a hand glider being an entertaining option for an extended period of time, you'll be happy to know that there are now plenty of more advanced options on the market.

HobbyZone Champ
Even if you're a beginner, you'll find that it's not overly hard to get this aircraft up and then safely land it. You'll also be able to enjoy maneuvering that's very responsive and quick. The one thing to remember about this specific rc plane model is because it is so light, you won't want to fly it in conditions that include heavy wind. Instead, you'll want to be sure that conditions are fair on the days that you fly it outside. That being said, it's still quite durable, so you don't have to worry about one mistake completely destroying this awesome aircraft.
Ultra-Micro Spitfire Mk IX
This RC airplane has a 4 channel control for the ailerons, throttle, rudder and elevator. One of the main reasons quite a few hobbyists consider it a step up from the previously discussed model is because it is capable of handling very windy conditions. Another really cool thing about the Spitfire is since it has stabilizing technology, flying it is a truly incredible experience.
HobbyZone Mini Super Club
Made by the same company as the first aircraft on our list, one of the reasons this is an ideal choice for beginners is because it's very easy to put together. Since assembly is minimal and it actually comes with an instructional DVD, parents have reported that their 10 to 13 year old children are able to put this aircraft together all on their own. Additionally, because most enthusiasts agree that it's quite easy to handle, it allows newcomers to get a taste of what it's like to be up in the air without ever getting overwhelmed.
Although a lot of people think that RC airplanes seem extremely cool, not all of those people actually get involved in this hobby. The most common reason they steer clear of it is because they think it's going to cost too much.
